Love these details. I have been taking Tai Chi lessons for about 1.5 years and although we focus mainly on forms, we do Chi gong to warm up and at the end of class as well. We have learned a lot of what you are teaching in regards to body alignment. Thanks for all the tips.

I have had a number of instructors in Tai Chi, I am glad to find one that looks at as more than just moves, maybe I was not considered worthy of deeper knowledge, but I was starting to feel some of this inside, nice to have more direction, should allow me to progress more suitably, not drunkenly

Students and instructors often find that their lessons in ChiFusion Tai Chi bring strong sensations of chi. This is true, even if they've practiced Tai Chi or Qigong elsewhere. This is especially true in our Level 1 exercises, because they focus on energy circulation. When you first start practicing from our program, the chi feelings can be quite intense, because your mind/body/energy system has never experienced it before. You are opening certain energy points and pathways, and there here sometimes can be quite a rush of sensations. What you are describing might fall into that category. This usually happens in the hands or feet first because they are the "endpoints" of many of these pathways. How people experience chi varies greatly. Some effects include the tingling you mention, but may also include warmth, a magnetic feeling, a pulsing or push/pull feeling, an electrical feeling, a "fullness" feeling, an "engorged" feeling, a lightness, as if the hands or feet had no weight, a heaviness, as if the hands or feet were extremely heavy, "pins and needles" feeling, or prickliness. You may also notice some visual affects like the hands or feet become becomes red or red-and-white mottled. What you are describing is just the beginning. If you work your way through our course, even if it's just the Level 1 course, you'll see how focused our practices are on helping you improve your health, relieve stress, and develop Chi circulation.
