From: Deborah MoenTo: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Saturday, March 01, 2008 4:50 PM Greetings, Thank you for your complete course. I just finished the first lesson and I feel so energized. Such valuable information and it is so easy to understand. I have been practicing, researching, studying Tai Chi and Qigong for 5 years. I was attracted to your program because of all the information and details you give. I know these details are so important for maximum benefits. Thank you for all the research you have done. I am so glad I finally bought the course. Being able to access it on the Internet is so easy. My inner body feels aligned and alive and my mind feels nourished as well. I was thrilled to get your program and experience the kinesthetic details and see the anatomy and the video and all the explaining on how to do this correctly. I have tried many programs and classes. I have read many books and practiced from video's from some of our best peers. Your ChiFusion Courses are unbeatable and very reasonable in price. Have a great day ! From: Anthony MonteithTo: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2007 6:33 AM Hi Al, Just wanted to let you know, and you can use this for your testimonials. I am nearing the end of my ChiFusion training, and due to its simplicity it has enabled me to focus mentally and rid myself of bad energy. I am a practitioner of Chinese Medicine, including all associated disciplines, such a Acupuncture,Tuina, and chinese herbal medicine. Qi Gong is infact a cornerstone of this system also, and I have found that the Qi Gong increases the power of my treatments and also lessens my fatigue after treating 12 people a day. It helps me to rid incorrect energy, too much energy, and energy blockages on a daily basis. Your system is a no nonsense approach in that it limits the damage to the joints (esp. Knees, Hips, Ankles) - from which 'classical' styles have a history of, due to incorrect approaches by certain practitioners. Regards Anthony Monteith, B.Sc.(Hons), Lic. Acu, Dip.AT. AOM., Dublin |

From: Ken To: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2007 7:55 AM Subject: Course Feedback I can personally stand by the quality of this program. I was also very skeptical, but I read through all of the introductory material and it completely meshed (or even supplemented) the knowledge I have personally accumulated regarding tai chi/qigong. (I have practiced in classes and via dvd instruction.) I could see that these guys knew their stuff. Not only that, but they were also pointing out mistakes that I was making in my tai chi practice that I can now definitively say was holding back my progress. Their information on protecting the knees alone is priceless. As I progress through the course, I am happier and happier with my decision. At $200, this equates to roughly 10-15 group tai chi classes, where you would not learn some of the stuff offered here except in some rare cases. Finally, one thing worth adding. I practiced for a while with a guy who was trained in tai chi but had a primary focus in white crane kung fu. The first time I felt "chi" between the palms of my hands, I relayed the experience to him and he concurred that he had the same sensations. He did not, however, "know what to do with it". This course shows you what to do with it quite effectively, and you know what, whatever "chi" REALLY is...it feels great. Rest assured that I am not affiliated with Al, just a satisfied customer. |
From: Karen GreenTo: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Wednesday, November 08, 2006 10:30 AM Hi Al, I came across the ChiFusion course as I was researching Tai Chi and Chi Kung (Qigong). As I looked through the information, like most people I was skeptical. Because I am already a teacher, I wondered what it was that this course could offer to help me improve my skills. Once I received my Level 1 Instructors material, I was bowled over by the amount of information. By looking at the video clips and checking the information at any time of the night and day, it was like having your own teacher at hand. I also found that if I had a question, I could email Al Simon, and he was very punctual and thorough in his reply. The fact that I could ask the question at 7:30 in the morning or 10:30 at night was great! I found the feedback I got from my first video evaluation of my performance was very helpful. I could see that it had been watched very thoroughly by Al and Carole.
For the second evaluation, I chose three of my existing students to help me with the teaching exercises. I have to confess, I thought it would be easy for them, as they had already been practicing for some time. I can remember saying that I didn't think it would take them that long to pick it up, as we had already practiced a different version of the 8 Brocades. How wrong was I! It did take a full 8 weeks, as recommended in the course. As the students practiced in between the sessions we had together, they said that they were working harder than the previous set they had learned, paying more attention to detail. They reported that the level of concentration needed was a lot more, and after finishing the completed set, they felt that they had really worked at a higher level. They felt that their muscles and joints had been worked more, but in a good way. They felt stronger, and they reported feeling chi like running water down their limbs. One student's hairs were standing up on her arms, their breathing lung capacity had improved, and they had an overall feeling of calm and bliss. They are all still practicing at home, and I am planning to start teaching the ChiFusion material as part of my classes in January. I have also just received the Level 2 Instructors Certification course, and the same three students have already put their names down for the "trial" classes. From my experience as a teacher - and having the benefit of being taught by many prestigious teachers and having trained in China - I have no hesitation in saying that ChiFusion Tai Chi and Qigong is a very well researched and presented program. Anyone interested in either using it for themselves or to teach would have great difficulty in finding anything better. Best wishes and Happy Wednesday, NOTE: Karen Green has completed certification as a Certified Level 1 Instructor. |
From: Jeffry LarsonTo: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Sunday, December 25, 2005 3:24 AM Subject: Finished Level 4 Hello friends at CloudWater, I just wanted to send you a note to let you know that I just completed the last lesson in Level 4! My study from the first lesson to now has been a wonderful journey of discovery. I have truly enjoyed and been fascinated by actually feeling the internal energy of Tai Chi and Qigong at work. I think your program is unique and well worth the investment. I look forward to continued practice of what I have learned and perhaps in the future advancing toward instructor certification or an Advance Learn-At-Home course. Thank you. From: Peggy Rodgers To: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Monday, July 10, 2006 4:52 PM Good Afternoon, Al, My husband is 75 years old and has had an "iffy" lower back for quite a few years. Sometimes it would go out so severely that he would be unable to stand upright for days on end. After the acute pain and stiffness, he decided to try the ChiFusion exercises. Right away when he started Lesson 1, he said that it allowed him to stand straighter and relax his lower back. Because of his history, he spends perhaps 7 minutes or less on ChiFusion each day, but he is faithful to do it every day. Even with such a limited amount of time given to the exercises, the program is so well conceived and written that he is benefiting more from this than from anything he has previously tried. His back continues to improve, and his breathing is also improving. Sincerely, Peggy and Richard Rodgers |

From: Heather Brock To: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Wednesday, August 23, 2006 9:54 AM Subject: Completion of Level 1 Hello Al, I have just completed Level 1 and wanted to let you know how beneficial and invaluable it turned out to be to my practice - and ultimately to my health. I have been doing the Eight Pieces of Brocade Qigong [from another teacher] each morning for the last two years, but until I completed Level 1 did not realize that I had been performing some of the movements incorrectly, and further, was perhaps causing myself injury due to the incorrect placement of my knees while in the Horse stance. I always felt some pressure in my knees, but thought (as unfortunately we are so ready to do in the West) that this was just part of it ... that 'no pain, no gain' thing. I am so pleased that I have caught this error in time and most likely saved my knees! I am just beginning Level 2, but wanted to let you know that at this point, just learning the correct way to practice and knee placement in Level 1 alone was more than worth the "price of admission" I paid for the whole course! I have also felt the benefits in my Tai Chi practice since implementing correct posture and knee placement. I can't wait to see what Levels 2, 3 and 4 hold. And yes, posting my email is fine. I want to let you know that in over 40 years as a consumer I have never written a letter about a product or service - good or bad - and I have already written two about the ChiFusion Program. It's just that it has proven so far to be such an invaluable program; I hope other students of Tai Chi that haven't yet discovered this amazing program will be encouraged to give it a go. Thanks again, Al, to you and Carole. Heather Brock B.A., M.Ed. |

"Dear Al - I have osteoarthritis in both the knees, both the feet and spondylolisthesis at L5S1 (lower back) and suffer from gout. My neck also hurts a lot sometimes. Just to mention in passing that I am 56 years old. I have already started on ChiFusion Level 1 and at the end of following your guidelines and half hour of practising, it appeared that I was more relaxed and felt better giving me the incentive to carry on. I did join a Tai Chi class last year but had to give up within six months since the pain was at times unbearable and became disheartened. We used to have an hour of exercise and then the movements for another hour. Obviously, no explanation was given why we were doing what we did and were told just to follow and that we will be taught breathing after we learned the whole set of movements. Needless to say that I paid more during those six months than I have for the ChiFusion Level 1 and 2 Combo Package. Your approach is fantastic. I understood why I did the movement accompanied with breathing and the explanations. I believe that I am now going to enjoy learning your way. Please use my comments that you feel may encourage people like me to try and improve our health in a positive way and change our outlook towards learning the ChiFusion way." - Jay in Middlesex, United Kingdom

From: Gil Lopez To: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Saturday, September 29, 2007 11:38 PM Subject: Finished! "Al and Carole, I have finished levels 1-4 and still doing the daily routines! I just want to share my feelings about the course. Being an Engineer by degree, I have always been a very skeptical and intuitive person and started the program with some hesitation, but needed to try something to reduce the stiffness of my 64-year old body and I felt like a 64! I am retired now and had time on my hands so try this course and now that I have finished it, all I can say is that I may look 64 but feel like when I was in my 30's!! I sleep better, have more range in my movements and have started losing a few pounds and have started my own home inspection business. I feel great and I will recommend this course to all my friends. Thank you both for relieving my stress and I have noticed that when I do my routines, I can really feel the energy to the point that it makes my arms and body tingle, especially when I close my eyes and really concentrate ––– great experience. You have made a believer out me, no longer skeptical!" -Gil Lopez, Professional Inspector

From: Charles To: info@cloudwater.com Sent: Saturday, October 29, 2005 3:58 PM Al, I am feeling "energy" all over, in my arms, by back, my legs, it is absolutely amazing - and pleasurable. What is more amazing to me is that I have 15 years of martial arts experience and I've never achieved anything like the results your course is generating in only a few short weeks of practice. Thank you. I've meditated on and off for years, done various types of tai chi and chi kung, ... I have studied with many well known and high level internal martial artists. I could "feel" and was absolutely certain their energy levels were real *but* I was unable to replicate their results using their methods and was too honest to pretend otherwise. The really nice thing about your course is the speed with which the results come and the gentle way in which they are brought about. Thanks Again, -Charlie |

"The first time I was able to do the
Spiraling Qigong (from ChiFusion Level 2) without needing to concentrate on
the moves themselves, I suddenly felt the crown of my head intensely heating up
like sunburn and then had hot spots in the palms of my hands. Since then I still
experience heat but not as intense. I
have been doing tai chi for some time now and this was my first feeling. I felt
the Chi!"
- Walter Wolff, a Learn-at-Home student in Delaware, has been
doing Tai Chi with other instructors for some time without any feeling or
awareness of Chi energy. But in just three short weeks with our ChiFusion
program, he had his first real Chi experience!

that we can recommend the best to our clients. Tai Chi is an ancient exercise
and martial art form practised by people aged 5 to 95, it is not strenuous or
difficult to learn but the benefits are huge! Anyone with anxiety disorder or

"I have been a practicing Martial Artist for going on twenty-five years, and have
studied myriad martial arts styles including Tai Chi.
I have really enjoyed working through your level one and two materials. The information is very well thought out and presented in a fully learnable and easily assimulated manner. It would be a shame for Martial Artists to think this is a course for the beginner or inexperienced only, as there is a lot to be gained through following your methodology. I feel fullness of movement in my spine that I have not had access to in ages, and enjoy the meditative effect of the movements when mixed with your visualizations. This is a truely teachable system and would make a great set of exercises for any Martial Art. Thank you for your time and efforts on educating me on how simple Tai Chi can really be!" - James L. "I just want to tell you that I visited my
chiropractor for the first time [since starting the ChiFusion course]
and he said that whatever I'm
doing to keep doing it, because he hasn't
seen my body as mobile as it is now. So something is working. You have a very well-thought-out program. As a retired educator, I appreciate the clarity of your presentations, as well as your passion for what you are doing." - Joan Weber, a ChiFusion Learn-at-Home student in

"For nearly a year, my chiropractor has been after me to take a tai chi or yoga class.
I had an appointment following the 6th week of ChiFusion Level 1, and he said,
'Your spine is much healthier than it has
been in months.' So, I guess it works!"

"The lower back is a concern for me, because I
work in construction and do a good bit of lifting. By doing the
[ChiFusion Level 1 exercises] daily for months now as directed in this
program, I feel my back is in the
best shape of my life! My knees and supporting tendons muscles and ligaments are very strong and flexible. My breathing is much better, and together with the energetic benefits of Level 2, this is a very exciting time in my 43 year old life. I know this because I just went ice skating for the first time since before doing this program and was just enjoying immensely the ease with which I could skate. Every other handy man project around the house has been so much easier as well. Thanks again for this program." - Martin, in a message posted on our ChiFusion

"I spend most of my time on the road, staying in hotels
and working long, strange hours.
This course is exactly what I have needed. I've tried DVD exercise programs but sometimes
I only have 10 minutes to spend and it's too frustrating to set up the DVD and
try to follow along for a fraction of the program. Your eBook with its detailed photos, the how-to's and how-not-to's combined with the text and the imbedded video gives me the confidence that I'm doing the movements correctly and, once I master a movement, I don't have to set up the laptop. Equally important, I'm not comparing my 50-year-old body to a roomful of bouncy young athletes. I don't feel stupid and am able to be patient with myself. I'm making steady progress and feeling a sense of well-being I haven't enjoyed in several years. Thanks for the perception, work ,and attention to detail that has gone into your ebooks. I am certainly reaping the benefit of your knowledge and teaching ability! I've been needing this so long, I just can't tell you how wonderful it is to finally get my hands on a training program that is so effective and so adaptable ... I can see that ChiFusion would benefit those who are already in great shape - but every tired, sad, pudgy, stiff, achy, or aging person struggling along through life NEEDS this program. Sorry to babble on at such length, but you guys have really improved my quality of life and I appreciate it more than I can say. THANK YOU." - Andrea Gilbreath, a network engineer,
travels with our ChiFusion programs on her laptop to practice on the road.

I just wanted to let you know I really enjoy the "opening the spine"
exercise [in ChiFusion Level 1]! I actually feel as if I were, in fact, growing.
I'm sure it'll do wonders for some
nagging back pains I've had lately. Though I'd seen this qigong exercise - and many others - described before in books, it was never quite "right" - there were always some gaps in the movements where I wasn't sure how the movement continued. I think your full descriptions, plus the videos and stills, with the indications of how it's right and how NOT to do it, are really clarifying. Thanks a lot." - Jinny, a Learn-at-Home student in a message posted on

"I enrolled in the ChiFusion Learn-at-Home program
after reading Al Simon's newsletter for several months. What he was saying about
feeling and experiencing such elements of Tai Chi as balance, chi,
intention was along the lines of my thinking. I
welcomed another perspective on teaching students the internal essence beyond
the physical forms. I have gained new insight and deepened my understanding of the benefits of Tai Chi from the lessons in ChiFusion Levels 1 and 2. More importantly in a class of beginners that I am teaching now, the students are progressing much better because of the emphasis on balance, experiencing chi, body awareness. They are realizing the benefits of Tai Chi much sooner than students in other instructors' beginner classes." - Gerry Wiley, a Taoist Tai Chi instructor for the last
20 years, writing on our ChiFusion
Forum about what ChiFusion has to offer the experienced student.

"About seven weeks ago, I had a fall down some stairs that resulted in my shoulder socket becoming disengaged twice. I lost all movement in the socket except for minor movement, and was very painful. I reviewed your site and the videos and I determined that ChiFusion just might be what I needed to start the mending process. Today I have moved from 0% recovery to about 70% recovery, and I can say without a doubt, that Hold the Sky with Both Hands [from ChiFusion Level 1] has played an extremely important part of that recovery. So, for this, I owe you gratitude. " - Dann, an online student

"The detailed information and posture instructions lay
strong foundations for safe and
effective practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong. The illustrations are very
helpful - especially the ones that show you what not to do! And of course the
great thing is if you have a laptop - you can take it with you when you travel.
Highly recommended - we still go back to it to brush up on the basics." - Rosie Harrison, reviewing our Learn-at-Home program on the Everyday

"The program is easy to use and takes virtually no time to
do ... The exercises were very simple
and had miraculous results, and that's something coming from someone
who has tried every book and video
out there. This program actually has results. A great alternative for
a person not near a school or teacher."
