About Us
Al SimonAl Simon is the director of CloudWater.Com and the CEO of Al J. Simon, Inc. in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. Al learned his first Qigong exercises in 1975 (back when it was called "Chinese yoga"), and began Tai Chi in 1984. He received certification in Yang-Style Tai Chi from Master Lawrence Galante, author of the book Tai Chi - The Supreme Ultimate. Al is also mentioned in the book Mastering Yang Style Taijiquan. In 2007, Al was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Al was inducted with with the rank of "Master" by the International Martial Arts Headfounders Grandmasters Council. Also in 2007, Al co-wrote the best-selling book, 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health, along with leading health experts Dr. Joseph Mercola, Gary Craig, Dr. Julian Whitaker, Carole Taylor, Dr. Stephen Sinatra, Dr. Susan Lark, Dr. Marcus Laux and others. In addition, Al's articles on Tai Chi have appeared in magazines such as Wholistic Alternatives, Natural Health Newsletter, The Empty Vessel, and Qi Journal. Al is CEO of his own service corporation for consulting and education, including Tai Chi and Qigong instruction. In addition to his Tai Chi accomplishments, Al is an in-demand instructor, lecturer, and consultant in everything from health and exercise, to software engineering and Internet development, to service-oriented consulting for individuals and small businesses. Carole TaylorCarole Taylor is the associate director of CloudWater.Com and the owner of YoungAfter50.Com in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. Carole has practiced Tai Chi and Qigong since 1994, and is a certified instructor. She assisted in the research and development of the ChiFusion™ Tai Chi and Qigong program. Her specialty is making Tai Chi and Qigong accessible and understandable to beginning students. In addition, Carole has been involved in health, nutrition, and exercise for over 40 years. She holds certifications in Metabolic Typing Nutrition Advising and in Neurotransmitter (Brain Chemistry) Balancing. Carole's work in diet and nutrition has specialized in how genetic factors influence healthy food choice. In 2007, Carole co-wrote the best-selling book, 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health, along with leading health experts Dr. Joseph Mercola, Gary Craig, Dr. Julian Whitaker, Al Simon, Dr. Stephen Sinatra, Dr. Susan Lark, Dr. Marcus Laux and others.
